RESOLUTION 15 -2714 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA APPROVING AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A PROFESSIONAL <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH PDCS, LLC TO PROVIDE <br />ALTERNATE BUILDING CODE ADMINISTRATOR AND <br />RELATED SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry no longer has a Building Official and desires to <br />avail itself of the required knowledge and expertise in the performance of activities and duties of <br />a Building Official; and <br />WHEREAS, the City requires a Building Official and a staff of Building Department <br />employees, all with appropriate State of Florida certifications related to the competent <br />performance of duties in the regulation and inspection of buildings and other structures being <br />constructed, altered, expanded and renovated; and <br />WHEREAS, the Procurement Administrator for the City has requested qualifications <br />from providers of such expertise; and <br />WHEREAS, PDCS, LLC submitted a proposal to provide these services on an hourly <br />basis to accomplish any necessary work; and <br />WHEREAS, City staff reviewed the proposal from PDCS, LLC and finds it sufficient to <br />meet the needs of the City and has provided a Professional Services Agreement for execution; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Agreement designates PDCS, LLC as the provider of alternate Building <br />Code Administrator and related services to the City of Casselberry. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the <br />Professional Services Agreement for alternate Building Code Administrator and Related Services <br />with PDCS, LLC based on hourly fees stated herein and authorizes the Mayor to execute said <br />document on behalf of the City. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of <br />the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severabilitv. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or <br />portion of this Resolution is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional in any court of <br />
