RESOLUTION 14 -2560 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXECUTION OF SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 3 WITH REISS <br />ENGINEERING, INC. FOR DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE RELOCATION <br />OF THE ELM DRIVE LIFT STATION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City recently completed a Wastewater Transmission Master Plan that <br />provided a prioritized capital improvement plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Elm Drive lift station relocation project was included in the capital <br />improvement plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Elm Drive lift station is located in the back of a private, residential <br />property under existing power lines which provides an inconvenient and unsafe working <br />environment; and <br />WHEREAS, on August 26, 2013 via Resolution 13 -2519, the City Commission <br />approved a Standard Consultant Agreement with Reiss Engineering, Inc. for Continuing Water <br />and Sewer Utility Engineering Services; and <br />WHEREAS, Reiss Engineering, Inc. has submitted Supplemental Agreement No. 3 for <br />design services for the Elm Drive Lift Station Relocation project for an amount not to exceed <br />$32,959 without prior authorization; and <br />WHEREAS, Public Works staff has reviewed Supplemental Agreement No. 3 to the <br />Standard Consultant Agreement with Reiss Engineering, Inc. and finds it favorable to meet the <br />needs of the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves <br />Supplemental Agreement No. 3 to the Standard Consultant Agreement with Reiss Engineering, <br />Inc. for an amount not to exceed $32,959 and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on <br />behalf of the City. <br />SECTION H. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />
