MINUTES <br />The following minutes were presented for approval: <br />A. May 12, 2008 - Regular Meeting <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Hufford moved to approve the minutes of <br />May 12, 2008 as presented. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Miller. Motion carried unanimously by <br />voice vote 5 - 0. <br />A. Departmental Presentation - S.R. 46A Alternative Water Supply Project <br />Mr. Ed Torres, Public Works Director, gave a presentation on the S.R. 46A Alternative Water Supply Project <br />in Sanford. A copy of the presentation is attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br />7. CITIZENS'COMMENTS <br />Mayor Goff announced that persons who wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. The following individuals requested to <br />be recognized and came forward: <br />1) John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, stated he did not understand the retirement <br />DROP program that was discussed during the earlier work session. Mayor Goff suggested <br />to Mr. Casselberry that he contact the Finance Director for a detailed explanation of the <br />DROP program. Mr. Casselberry voiced concerns regarding the S.R. 46A Alternative Water <br />Supply Project and stated he felt the focus should be on conserving water in lakes and <br />recharging the aquifer. <br />2) Dennis Scherr, 463 South Triplet Lake Drive, representing AmeriGas Propane located <br />2812 Silver Star Road in Orlando, voiced concerns regarding parking on -call vehicles once <br />every five weeks as an emergency response vehicle. <br />3) Diana Harrell, 1124 Castlewood Terrace, representing AmeriGas Propane located 2812 <br />Silver Star Road in Orlando, regarding parking on -call vehicles once every five weeks as an <br />
