Minutes of June 24, 2013 — Regular Meeting MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to approve the minutes of the June 24, 2013 Regular Meeting, as presented. Motion was seconded by Mice Mayor Solomon. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 — 0. A. Presentation - City of Casselberry Investments Status Finance Director Rebecca Bowman explained that in 2012 the City had updated its investment policy and as a result had begun utilizing an investment advisor and an investment manager to actively manage a portfolio for the City's investments and operating funds. She introduced Mr. Mike Welker, President and CEO of The Bogdahn Group, the City's investment advisor and Mr. David Furfine, of Sawgrass Asset Management, LLC, the City's investment manager, who gave presentations covering the current status and performance and compliance of the City's investments through the past quarter. Copies of the PowerPoint presentations are attached to and made a part of these minutes. B. Presentation — Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for Fiscal Year 2012 -2013 Mayor Glancy presented Finance Director Rebecca Bowman with the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for Fiscal year 2012 -2013 from the Government Finance Officers' Association. Special Invoice Report Introduction: The Special Invoice Report policy was adopted by the Commission to streamline the financial process for approval of certain invoices, awards of bids, initial contracts and change orders on a project in excess 5% of the total project. The following items have been received by the affected departments and are being presented for approval.
