All were present. <br />5. MINUTES <br />No items were presented on this agenda. <br />A. Presentation: Muscular Dystrophy Association <br />Ms. Tara Sullivan, Executive Director for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, presented a plaque to the <br />Casselberry Fire Department recognizing the firefighters for their outstanding efforts in the 2011 "Fill the <br />Boot" Drive for Muscular Dystrophy. She thanked them on behalf of the families served by the MDA and <br />thanked the City for allowing them to participate while on duty. She noted that their efforts yielded $9,077.50, <br />exceeding their previous best drive year by $4,077.50, and that the funds collected help to provide summer <br />camp for children, repairs to durable medical equipment and research to find cures for neuromuscular diseases. <br />Mayor Glancy announced that Items B and C would be heard together. <br />B. Presentation: Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting <br />C. Presentation: Award of Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial <br />Reporting <br />Mayor Glancy recognized Finance Director Randy Newlon for receiving the Certificate of Achievement for <br />Excellence in Financial Reporting and the Certificate of Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting, <br />both for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2010. These awards were presented to Mr. Newlon and the City <br />by the Government Finance Officers' Association. The Commission and City Manager commended Mr. <br />Newlon and the Finance Department, and extended congratulations on their outstanding achievements. <br />
