CASSELBERRY CITV COMMISSION
Minutes of March 28, 2011- Wm•hshop
Millage Rollback (Forward)
Incremental Approach
A copy of the PowerPoint presentation is attached to and made a part of these minutes.
Discussion: Discussion ensued regarding the various funding options. The City Commission was generally in
favor of the incremental approach, as well as possibly pursuing a dedicated millage referendum, however
collectively acknowledged that it most likely would not pass during the current economic times.
Commission consensus was to continue discussion regarding the incremental approach and the dedicated
millage referendum options at a future meeting, possibly at the end of the March 28th regular meeting, time
permitting. The City Manager noted that a decision whether or not to pursue the referendum would need to be
made quickly in order to meet the various deadlines of having the question appeal on a November ballot.
4e AJ®LTIZE'I'
Mayor Glancy adjourned the workshop at 6:57 p.m.
DATE MINUTES APPROVED BY CITY COMMISSION:
ATTEST:
Donna G.
