CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Glancy called the workshop of the CasselberryCity Commission to order at 6:03 p.m. It was noted that <br />all members of the City Commission were present with the exception of Commissi oner Miller who was ill and <br />unable to attend the workshop. <br /> <br />II. RENTAL PROPERTY ORDINANCE INFORMATION <br /> <br />Presentation: Police Lieutenant Scott Pleasants gave a presentation regarding the rental property inspection <br />process and functionality of rental property ordinances. The presentation provided an overview of the rental <br />property inspection processes for the City of Daytona Beach and the City of South Daytona. Potential methods <br />for tracking rental properties werealso outlined. <br /> <br />A copy of the presentation is attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />Discussion: The City Commission was asked toconsider and discuss the following: <br /> <br />Yearly Inspections- including pros and cons of conducting inspections while the dwelling is occupied <br />or not occupied. <br />What will be the cost of registering each rentalproperty? <br />How much staff would be needed forapproximately 4,000 rental properties? <br />Coordination with Condominium Association regulatory policies. <br />
