Mimttes of May 10, 2010 -Regular Meeting <br />MOTION: Commissioner Hufford moved to approve the minutes of the May 10, 2010 <br />Regular Meeting, as presented. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Solomon. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 - 0. <br />6. P 'I''I'I N~/C 1VIEDATION <br />A. Presentation: Florida League of Cities Quality of Life Public Service Announcement <br />The third episode of the Florida League of Cities public service announcement series entitled "Baseball" <br />highlighting the nahue and quality of Florida's cities was shown. This series of public service video messages <br />is intended to remind Floridians of the many ways cities and the public services they provide affect their daily <br />lives. <br /> <br />Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Glancy announced the rules of <br />decorum. The following individuals came forward: <br />1) Mr. John Casselberty, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, voiced concerns regarding the discussion on <br />incentives held at the June 11, 2010 Community Redevelopment Agency meeting. Ml•. Casselbeny <br />also voiced concerns about the reports at a recent Parks & Recreation Advisory Board meeting that <br />there is an alligator reported to be in the Triplet chain of lakes. <br />1) Mr. James Fraleigh, 1290 Seminola Boulevard, voiced concerns regarding the City Commission <br />Meeting Rules and Procedm•es and the enforcement thereof. Mr. Fraleigh also voiced concerns <br />regarding responsibilities and representation of the citizens by the City Commission through their <br />recent actions including action taken at the May lOtt' meeting which denied the Kingdom Hall's <br />request to do additional construction work on the weekends. <br />2) Mr. Craig Tull, 420 Ranch Trail, commented in favor of the action taken at the May l Ott' meeting <br />which denied Kingdom Hall's request for additional construction work to be completed on the <br />weekends, and commented on due process issues in general. <br />No one else came forward. <br />
