RESOLUTION 08-1901 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND MOORE STEPHENS LOVELACE, P.A. CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS FOR AUDIT SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry desires to enter into an agreement with Moore Stephens Lovelace, P.A. Certified Public Accountants; and WHEREAS, the purpose of the agreement is to provide external auditing services to the City of Casselberry, Florida, for a two-year period covering fiscal years 2008 and 2009; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida, authorizes the execution of the agreement between the City and Moore Stephens Lovelace, P.A. Certified Public Accountants for the time period specified. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That Moore Stephens Lovelace, P.A., Certified Public Accountants, shall perform external auditing services, and shall be compensated $49,500 for fiscal year ending September 30, 2008, and $52,500 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2009. SECTION II. The Mayor of the City of Casselberry is hereby authorized to execute said agreement (attached as Exhibit A) on behalf of the City of Casselberry. SECTION m. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION IV. Severability. If any section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part ofthis Resolution. SECTION V. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14TH day of Julv, A.D., 2008.
