Comprehensive Plan Elements - Drainage/Stormwater, Natural Groundwater <br />Aquifer Recharge and Conservation <br /> <br />Dr. Kelly Von Brock, City Engineer, stated that the goal of the City of Casselberry is to <br />provide adequate drainage and control of storrnwater runoff that best serves the public in <br />an efficient, orderly and environmentally sound manner. He enumerated on actions <br />needed to be taken by the City to assess and correct deficiencies in the stormwater <br />management system and related structural facilities. The recommended objectives/ <br />policy changes to the Stormwater Master Plan are summarized as follows: <br /> <br />. Policy DR 1.2 -Update Storrnwater Master Plan Implementation, clarify <br />language and dates <br />· Policy DR 1.4,2.1,3.1- Revise language to replace Schedule with Master Plan <br />· Objective DR 2 - Rephrase language for specific actions re "... .mitigate the <br />increased drainage capacity to mitigate stormwate runotl~..." <br />· Policy DR 3.7 - Clarify public vs private service; add flexibility for small <br />re-development projects <br />· Policy DR 4.2 - Clarify "nonstructural"; promote Low Impact Development <br />practices; add flexibility for re-development <br />
