RESOLUTION 03-1408 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND THE SEMINOLE COUNTY SUPERVISOR OF ELECTION RELATING TO ELECTION SERVICES; AUTHORIZING APPROVAL OF EXHIBIT TO INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT FOR SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry wishes to enter into an agreement with the Seminole County Supervisor of Elections for election services; and WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to enter into this Agreement with the Seminole County Supervisor of Elections because it represents the best interest, both as to service and cost, for the City and the citizens of the City of Casselberry. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That the Agreement Relating to Elections and the Exhibit to the Intergovernmental Agreement, are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, between the City of Casselberry and the Seminole County Supervisor of Elections. SECTION II. The Mayor of the City of Casselberry is hereby authorized to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Casselberry. SECTION III. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION IV. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION V. Effective Date. passage and adoption. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its PASSED AND ADOPTED this c1-f!!. Dayof ~L'2A'-./~ ,2003.
