Reischmann <br />Stenstrom, Mcintosh, Colbert et al <br />1001 Heathrow Park Lane, Ste. 4001 <br />Lake Mary, FL 32746 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06-1642 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, REPEALING <br />RESOLUTION NOS. 94-869 AND 05-1574, AND REPLACING THEM WITH THIS <br />RESOLUTION, TO REQUIRE APPLICANTS TO REIMBURSE THE CITY FOR CITY <br />ATTORNEY COSTS FOR REVIEW OF SPECIFIC MATERIAL; TO REQUIRE <br />APPLICANTS TO REIMBURSE THE CITY FOR ADVERTISING COSTS WHEN <br />NOTIFICATION IS REQUIRED; TO ADD ADDITIONAL FEES FOR SERVICES THAT <br />ARE PROVIDED BY STAFF THAT CURRENTLY ARE NOT DESIGNATED BY <br />RESOLUTION; TO ADJUST FEES TO BECOME COMPARIBLE TO JURISDICTIONS <br />WITHIN SEMINOLE COUNTY; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by City of Casselberry Unified Land Development Regulation 1-2.8, the City <br /> <br />Commission may set fees imposed by the Land Development Regulations by resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution 94-869, and various amending resolutions, the City Commission of the <br /> <br />City of Casselberry set fees for development review and other related fees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the development review fees for the City of Casselberry were approved on November <br /> <br />24, 1994 and have not been increased since that date; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the development review fees for jurisdictions within Seminole County have been <br /> <br />reviewed and the City of Casselberry's fees are not comparable to those jurisdictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry does not charge for various staff services that are commonly <br /> <br />charged by other jurisdictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the development review fees should be amended so that fees accurately reflect the <br />administrative costs associated with the review of development applications; and <br />WHEREAS, subdivision plats, administrative appeals, planned developments, site development <br />
